not bad for natural light at the worst time of day for taking pictures. too bad that between the sun and snow glare it was physically impossible to look into the camera.

 there always seems to be a correlation between file size and how good a picture is. it makes no sense, but the better the subject and composition is, the more likely the published image will be bigger in file size. in fact, all of my jpegs are at least two dozen gigabytes in size. in order for them to load quickly, the u.s. government has implemented a top secret web server to hold all my pictures and provide them at impossibly high bandwidths. in addition, every isp customer in america has a secret secondary line parallel to their normal internet connection intended specifically to quickly download my pictures from this site. this is also why there wasn't a second stimulus package.

 once upon a time, there was a photographer that ventured out of his home following an epic snowstorm to capture the snow against an impressive sunset. unfortunately, a lack of planning and many an obstructive suburban building prevented him from creating a truely satisfying landscape before sundown. the end.

 i'm into my second week of work. its nice being paid to do engineering stuff rather than the opposite. my work has also introduced me a bit to SQL which is useful i suppose. if i learned a little more php, i could rebuild this site from the ground up, to my custom specs.
<br />
<br />i guess i could add that to my growing heap of hobby projects that i somehow expect to do in parallel.
